Woman Struck, Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver Near Concord Airport: CHP
The pedestrian was standing near her car when an unknown vehicle struck her, the California Highway Patrol said.

CONCORD, CA — The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened Wednesday night near the Concord airport.
The CHP said it was notified at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday about a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Marsh Drive near Aria Drive.
A pedestrian was standing outside of her parked Dodge Caliber when an unknown vehicle traveling northbound on Marsh struck her and her parked car, the CHP said.

The driver of the suspect vehicle did not stop and fled the scene, continuing north on Marsh Drive, the CHP said.
The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
