• RivCo Woman Arrested, Accused Of Smuggling Narcotics Into Banning Jail: Sheriff (patch.com) — A 51-year-old Corona resident was arrested after deputies searched her Frontage Road home and linked her to narcotics allegedly mailed into a Banning jail. Investigators say they found suspected methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and evidence of smuggling during the Corona search, following a months-long probe into drugs entering the facility. 
• Multi-Agency Task Force Arrests 76 Suspects and Seizes 66 Firearms in Week-Long Operation Consequences (crimevoice.com) — Corona was one of several cities included in a week-long regional law enforcement sweep that led to 76 arrests, 66 seized firearms, and multiple narcotics confiscations. The multi-agency Operation Consequences focused on gang members and prohibited gun owners, and will continue targeting crime around San Bernardino and nearby communities.
