Easter Brunches and Egg Hunts Abound in Coronado

Is everyone revved up for Easter this weekend?

We’ve got some family-fun activities, including delicious brunches, to participate in during this weekend of all things pastel.

Check out the hoppin’ offerings in Coronado – from city events Saturday to many hotel and restaurant brunches Sunday – in celebration of a favored spring holiday:

Egg Hunts

• When/where: , 1845 Strand Way, 1 p.m. Saturday.
• What: Individual egg hunt areas just for toddlers and one just for preschoolers, along with prizes and photos with the Easter Bunny.
• Cost: Egg hunt is free, other activities have a small fee.

• When/where: , 1500 Orange Ave., 10 a.m. Sunday.
• What: Guests eating brunch at the Hotel Del can hunt for eggs for free and non-guests can make crafts.
• Cost: Free for brunch guests; non-guests pay $10.

Brunches

• When/where: , 1845 Strand Way, 9 a.m. Saturday.
• What: Sit down with the community for some hot cakes, sausage, fruit, juice and coffee. Bring your camera to take pictures of your little one with the Easter Bunny. Kids will be entertained with a holiday craft.
• Cost: $11 for adults and $9 for children.

• When/where: , 1500 Orange Ave., 9 a.m. Sunday.
• What: A brunch buffet will be set up in the Ballroom and Crown Room with multiple free egg hunts taking place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Windsor Lawn. Easter crafts can be made by brunch guests for $5.
• Cost: $80 for adults and $34 for children ages 6-10. Kids 5 and under eat free.

• When/where: , 4000 Coronado Bay Rd., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday.
• What: Enjoy a morning or afternoon brunch on the bay. An egg hunt for guests will take place from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. on the Marina Terrace
• Cost: $75 for adults, $35 for children.

• When/where: , 1331 1^st St., Sunday.
• What: Reserve a spot for an Italian Easter brunch, and enjoy a spectacular view of the Bay.

Easter Brunch at the Coronado Island Marriott

• When/where: , 2000 2^nd St., Sunday.
• What: Take the family to the hotel’s restaurant, Current, for a brunch buffet that includes an omelet station, breakfast classics, hand-carved meats and a view of San Diego.
