Coronado High School Empty Bowls
Fundraising event, Empty Bowls, at Coronado High School on April 14th, 2016 5-7pm. Get a handmade bowl and soup from a local restaurant.
Coronado High School ceramics students have been making over a thousand bowls for the past two months for the annual fundraiser, Empty Bowls. The Empty Bowls mission is to raise money to feed and support the Food Insecure in San Diego. This event takes place on Thursday April 14th 5-7pm at Coronado High School. The proceeds this year go to; Kitchens For Good, Feeding America San Diego, Project Sammich, and Beth Israel of San Diego Hunger Project. At the event $20 buys a handmade bowl filled with soup, from local participating restaurants. The event draws hundreds of Coronado locals every year! Last year this non-profit event made over $32,000 and since 2007 Empty Bowls has provided over a half a million meals in San Diego. We would love for you to join us in our mission to help the hungry in San Diego. If you have any questions feel free to contact us.
Thank you!
