Come to Inspire and Be Inspired

Coronado Girl Scout Troops 3796 and 4340 will host "Fashion with Compassion" on Sunday, June 5th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the Girl Scouts San Diego Balboa Campus - Cabin 1 Amphitheater: 1231 Upas St., San Diego, CA 92103. Individual girls, families and Girl Scout troops of all ages in Coronado and surrounding communities are welcome.

Participate in one or more activities! Model an outfit to be donated. Accessorize with your own items and bring clothing and other household textiles you wish to donate. Or, model a garment or accessory made from recyclables. Upcycle! Display a repurposed item made from recyclables at a Show-and-Tell table. Items can be funny, for fun or for function – art, tool, toy, or just because…

Scouts can satisfy energy and conservation requirements toward earning badges and Journey awards. Hold a recycling contest in your troop or neighborhood and donate at the event for S.H.A.R.E. Donations of $25 or more will be honored with a S.H.A.R.E. patch. Make and take a project to make the world a better place.
