Fashion Valley Announces Holiday Extra Festive Hours
Enhanced holiday season opening hours to accommodate busy holiday shoppers
Fashion Valley, a Simon shopping center, is announcing enhanced holiday season opening hours to accommodate the needs of busy holiday shoppers. Fashion Valley will be open from 6 PM on Thursday, November 27, 2014 (Thanksgiving) through 1 AM Friday, November 28, to kick off the holiday shopping season. The mall will re-open at 6 AM on “Black Friday,” and will close at 10 PM that evening.
On Saturday, November 29, the mall will open at 9 AM, close at 9 PM, and re-open on Sunday, November 30, at 11 AM and close at 7 PM.
Monday, December 1, through Saturday, December 6, Fashion Valley will open at 10 AM and close at 9 PM. On Sunday, December 7, Fashion Valley will be open from 11 AM to 8 PM.
Between Monday, December 8, and Saturday, December 13, Fashion Valley will be open from 10 AM to 10 PM, and on Sunday, December 14, Fashion Valley will be open from 11 AM to 8 PM.
Between Monday, December 15, and Tuesday, December 23, Fashion Valley will be open from 8 AM to 10 PM. Last minute shoppers can visit the center between 8 AM and 6 PM on “Christmas Eve,” December 24. Fashion Valley will be closed on Christmas Day, December 25, and will re-open at 8 AM on Friday, December 26.
“Convenience is key to successful holiday shopping whether you start early or late in the season. Research shows that 84% of shoppers agree that malls provide a convenient option to get a lot of shopping done in one trip*,” said Chris Lane, Director of Marketing for Fashion Valley. “We are offering extra holiday hours to meet our customers’ needs - from the person looking for the latest fashion and styles of the season to the family hunting for great deals to the last-minute shopper in search of the perfect gift.”
New this holiday season, Fashion Valley launched a social media holiday concierge, to help shoppers – both at and away from the mall – with holiday-related questions, including everything from the closest parking to access their favorite stores, to popular gift ideas to wow Aunt Sally. Fashion Valley’s digital elves will be on the lookout for holiday related questions on Twitter and will respond with helpful holiday hints. Guests can Tweet to Fashion Valley using hashtag #FashionValleyConcierge, through December 31, for advice on seasonal activities, gift ideas, and more.
In addition to the social media holiday concierge, shoppers can get expert fashion and gift-giving advice from Fashion Valley’s dream team of personal shoppers.
To provide gift-giving inspiration, Simon and Vogue Advertising have collaborated to produce the “Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide”, curated by Vogue’s Market Stylist**, Cara Crowley, who has selected her favorite holiday products from retail brands available at Simon Malls, Premium Outlets and Mills. These Gift Guides will be previewed as an insert in the December issue of Vogue with the full print version available at Fashion Valley. A digital version of the full Gift Guide will also be available on simon.com/holidaygiftguide.
