Fighting for Kids In and Outside the Courtroom

Local San Diego law firm doesn't just win cases, it makes a difference.

From the street, 2873 India Street looks like an upscale yet pretty typical law office. The firm name appropriately emblazoned in big bold letters proclaims “Estey & Bomberger Serious Injury Attorneys”. It invokes a feeling of success and power and screams justice, but there is so much more to the work this law firm does.

While Estey & Bomberger, LLP is one of the top personal injury law firms in California, it is also known for the massive civil suits its won for victims of child sexual abuse and molestation. This topic tends to be left out in the media more so than their personal injury verdicts, but they are oftentimes even more impressive. Founding attorneys Stephen Estey and Mike Bomberger aren’t afraid to take on big institutions to fight for the rights of abused children. They’ve won multi-million dollar cases against institutions like the Los Angeles Unified School District and one of the Top 100 Verdicts of 2010 against the foster family agency, Giarretto Institute, in Santa Clara County, CA.

What makes nationwide child sexual assault attorneys Stephen Estey and Mike Bomberger stand out even more is that their work to protect victims doesn’t stop in the courtroom. In 2014, they donated $100,000 to the Chadwick Center for Children and Families at Rady’s Children’s Hospital-San Diego. When asked about their generous donation, Stephen Estey replied, “The services Chadwick Center offers sex abuse victims are vital to the healing process and we want to ensure that Chadwick Center can continue to assist not only our clients, but all victims of sex abuse.”

Estey & Bomberger, LLP is a law firm I’m proud to say is a part of San Diego. Whether they are helping victims of child molestation through the healing effect of the legal process or making a large donation to a local organization like the Chadwick Center, these are attorneys fighting to make a difference in the lives of our children.
