Global Social Hour with International Leaders

The San Diego Diplomacy Council and Sempra International invite you to spend an evening with more than 30 U.S. Department of State sponsored international delegates from countries all over the world. These global leaders are in the U.S. as professional exchange participants of two separate International Visitor Leadership Programs (IVLP). One program is focused on Transparency in Government and is compromised of economists, lawyers, bank managers, journalists and government advisers from the Ministry of Finance and Energy from Ghana, Uganda, Zimbabwe and 9 other African countries. The other program is focused on the U.S. Foreign Policy Process and includes delegates from the Vatican, Iraq, China, Israel, Russia, Bosnia and 15 other countries. San Diego Diplomacy Council Global Social Hours provide a unique opportunity for globally-minded San Diegans to engage in conversation with international leaders from a variety of fields in a beautiful indoor/outdoor downtown setting at the Omni San Diego Hotel. Food and beverages will be available for purchase and we encourage guests to continue networking at local Gaslamp restaurants after the event.
