Governor Keeps Doug Metz on Water Activities Commission
The school board member has served on the state commission since 2006.
Doug Metz was re-appointed to the California Boating and Waterways Commission by Gov. Jerry Brown Friday.
Metz, 78, is a consultant and senior counsel to the King Law Group. He serves on the governing board of the Coronado Unified School District.
Metz has served since 2006 on the commission, which promotes safety in recreational water activities. The position, which pays $100 per diem, requires Senate confirmation.
