CoSA students announce annual Horror Nights production (thecoronadonews.com) — Coronado families can look forward to CoSA's annual Horror Nights, returning Oct. 27 and 29 to the Black Box Theater at Coronado High School with a new "Myths and Magic" theme. The student-created, immersive horror experience is recommended for middle schoolers and older, with affordable tickets available online or at the door and concessions on sale.
   

4. It's official: Coronado is the newest addition to San Diego Community Power – San Diego Union-Tribune (sandiegouniontribune.com) — Coronado has officially joined San Diego Community Power, meaning residents will automatically be enrolled in a new community-choice electricity program projected to start locally around March 2028. Households and businesses will still receive SDG&E bills but can choose among several renewable-heavy plans or opt out to remain with SDG&E, with a Coronado councilmember now representing the city on the power agency's board.
