PAWS of Coronado Canine Mayoral Inauguration

The polls for the PAWS of Coronado Canine Mayoral Race closed at 5 pm this past Sunday.

Voters flocked to the ballot boxes at the Flower Show and Coronado Animal Care Facility to place last minute votes. Not to be outdone, online voters from California, Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas placed their votes via the PAWS website.

The votes are being tallied by the Tally Board Committee and the new Canine Mayor Inauguration will be this Wednesday, April 30th at 5:00 pm at the Coronado Animal Care Facility.

Coronado Mayor Casey Tanaka will be the officiator and announce the new Mayor, the Vice Mayor and the Canine Council.

Said Mayor Tanaka, “I'm looking forward to seeing all of you and your canine Chiefs of a Staff, as well as my new Mayoral colleagues :-)”
