Registration Opens Wednesday, Oct. 21 for SDSU's Exploring Craft Beer Course

Due to popular demand, SDSU’s College of Extended Studies has added an Exploring Craft Beer course to its fall curriculum in the Professional Certificate in the Business of Craft Beer program.

Registration opens at 12:01 am Wednesday, Oct. 21 at neverstoplearning.net/craftbeer for the course that takes place Wednesdays, Nov. 4-Dec. 16, 6-9 pm. (There is no class Wednesday, Nov. 11 and the Wednesday, Nov. 25 class has been moved up to Tuesday, Nov. 24.)

This six-week course is designed to take students on a journey through the world of craft beer. Topics include the history of beer, the craft beer revolution, beer styles, beer and food pairings, and much more. This course gives students an overview of craft beer and its role in today’s culture, and is the foundation for all future courses in the program.

Students must be at least 21 years of age.

SDSU’s College of Extended Studies reaches out to San Diego, the nation, and the world with a wide variety of lifelong learning opportunities, and more than 50 certificate programs for career advancement. Topics range from contract management, construction, and craft beer, to grant writing, marketing, and human resources. And many programs are available online.
