RE/MAX Realtor Francine Howard Guides Military Personnel through the Home Buying and Selling Maze
In light of a September report by the SD Military Advisory Council, Francine discusses the challenge of finding homes for military personnel

CORONADO, CA (PRWEB) NOVEMBER 10, 2015
“About 50,000 of these people are U.S. Navy personnel, and represent more than one of every seven members of our nation’s total Naval force,” said Francine. “This is especially relevant to me as my RE/MAX Hometown Realtors office is on Coronado Island, home to Naval Base Coronado, a very large consortium of eight Navy installations.”
In addition to Naval Base Coronado, San Diego County is also home to Camp Pendleton, a major West Coast Marine Corps base, and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. In fact, according to the SDMAC report, San Diego is home to the largest concentration of military forces in the world.

However, not all of these various military personnel and DoD civilians live on bases, and that is where Realtors like Francine come in. As a veteran real estate professional and military specialist, Francine considers it her duty to find homes for off-base military personnel and civilian defense workers.
Military personnel face a unique set of challenges when it comes to real estate. For example, when they get stationed somewhere else and quickly have to buy and/or sell a home or rent out their home, which can cause a lot of stress. Additionally, trying to do this while deployed in a far-off country presents another major challenge.

“For many of my military clients, I am also able to offer property-management services to assist them with rentals when they are either deployed or reassigned away from Coronado or San Diego,” said Francine. “They know their investment is in good hands while they are serving our country.”
