Stormy Monday: Photo Of The Day

CORONADO, CA — Patch reader Ken Jones captured this photo during Monday's storm in Coronado.

"A lightning strike knocked out electronics in many Coronado homes and set this queen palm on fire," Jones explained. "This incident took place near the corner of Third (Street) and Orange Avenue in Coronado. Definitely something we don't see every day."
