Cosby to Answer Questions about Alleged Playboy Mansion Assault
Bill Cosby will be deposed in a lawsuit brought by one of more than 40 accusers, who says he drugged and assaulted her at the mansion.
Bill Cosby will deposed in October in connection with a lawsuit filed by a woman who alleges she was sexually assaulted by the comedian at the Playboy Mansion in 1974, when she was 15 years old, the woman’s attorney said today.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Craig Karlan ordered Tuesday that Cosby’s deposition be held Oct. 9. The woman, Judy Huth, will be deposed Oct. 15. The location of the depositions was not disclosed.
“We are pleased that we will now be able to move ahead without further delay on Ms. Huth’s case and we look forward to taking Mr. Cosby’s deposition on Oct. 9, 2015,” Huth’s attorney, Gloria Allred, said today.

Cosby’s attorney, Martin Singer, could not be reached late today for comment.
Huth is among more than 40 women who allege that Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted them.

She alleges in her court papers that she has suffered “psychological damage and mental anguish” throughout her life, but only recently discovered the problems were “caused by the sexual abuse perpetrated by Cosby.”
Her lawsuit alleges sexual battery, intention infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
Cosby’s attorneys have denied any wrongdoing by the comedian.
