Local Runners Complete Boston Marathon

History was made Monday when Kenya's  won the 115th  in two hours, three minutes and two seconds—the fastest time ever.

Despite shattering the previous best time of 2:03:59 set in 2008 by Ethiopian Haile Gebrselassie in Berlin, Mutai's effort is not officially considered a world record because the course is not considered record-eligible by the. 

Also completing the 26.2-mile course were five Culver City residents. Below is the list of local runners and their official times, in order of finish:

1. Carlos E. Saturno, male, age 61, 3:02:04 (1,726 overall, 5 in division)

2. William J. Mudd, male, age 35, 3:11:04 (3,178 overall, 1,903 in division)

3. Peter W. Tuccillo, male, age 52, 3:34:35 (9,007 overall, 760 in division)

4. David U. Fox, male, age 53, 3:35:43 (9,320 overall, 790 in division)

5. Anne Brand-Nevison, female, age 52, 4:30:58 (20,646 overall, 678 in division)
