Photos: LA, Culver City Candidates Give Meals To Families

Two local candidates were at Farragut Elementary School providing meals Thursday.

CULVER CITY, CA — Los Angeles City Councilman Herb Wesson, a candidate for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, and Albert Vera, a city council candidate in Culver City, passed out meals to Culver City and South Los Angeles families Thursday.

Wesson and Vera met up with families at Farragut Elementary School, 10820 Farragut Drive, Culver City. They distributed meals from the Green Truck and fresh groceries, and about 450 families benefited from the event.
