A Record of Results for CCUSD

Loredo believes that strong schools require close partnerships with educators, staff, and the community. During her first term on the Board of Education, Loredo focused on equity, inclusion, sustainability, and collaboration.

The district secured significant new funding during her tenure, while Loredo worked to strengthen CCUSD’s relationships with Culver City government and other organizations to identify additional opportunities for revenue and student programs.

In 2025, the CCUSD Board of Education unanimously approved a Community Workforce Agreement supporting quality construction, fair wages and benefits, and apprenticeship opportunities for local workers. Loredo has also advocated for greater participation by employee unions in district decision-making.

For a second term, Loredo’s priorities include closing achievement gaps, expanding educational opportunities, strengthening support for students with disabilities and other historically underserved students, maintaining fiscal stability, and bolstering school wellness and safety.
