The School Board meeting included the very first public discussion of a plan to develop the Luther school site into a staff housing development.   Superintendent Gudalewicz had announced the plan in a December 8, 2015 press conference produced by a public relations firm, and the community ha been demanding an open review for the last several months.

Public comments included calls for the resignation of CUSD Superintendent Wendy Gudalewicz, which received the approval of a crowd of 100 people in attendance.   Parents and community members highlighted concerns including: - Gudalewicz's connections with developers such as The Hills at Vallco - Poor leadership creating a dysfunctional environment for teachers and parents - New information on the West Valley Elementary reconstitution showing Gudalewicz's explanation to be fraudulent - Controversial fingerprinting mandate of parent volunteers.
