Corrections Deputy Exchanged Illicit Material With Minor: Police
The 23-year-old, who allegedly met the underage girl at a youth program, was arrested at his South Bay home, San Jose officials said.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – A 23-year-old Santa Clara County correctional deputy this week was arrested on suspicion of sending online harmful photos of himself to a minor and causing a minor to send him harmful photos, police said Thursday.
After an investigation, the San Jose Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children/ Child Exploit Detail task force arrested Blaine Hopper on Tuesday at his home in San Jose, police said.
He was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.

According to police, Hopper developed a relationship over a five-month period with a 17-year-old girl who was in a youth program.
Police said Hopper and the victim sent each other messages via social media, and, at one point, he asked the victim for illicit images. He sent illicit images and videos of himself as well, the department said.
