Sarah Stearns, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and senior consultant for VISIONS, Inc. Sarah will discuss with us in a Community Forum the ways our sensitivity to language and heightened understanding of power differences can support engagement with others, especially those whose cultural identities and life experiences are different than our own.

Sarah has facilitated conversations within spiritual communities to enhance inclusion and the deepening of authentic relationships. VISIONS Inc is a NPO based in Roxbury, MA, whose mission is to equip individuals and organizations with the tools to thrive in a diverse world, which includes learning to communicate effectively across differences.
