Free Flu Shots Every Saturday at Santa Clara County Fairgrounds

Free flu shots are being administered every Saturday through mid-December from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds Expo Hall in San Jose. The car entrance for general parking is located at Gate D, 2542 Monterey Road, the pedestrian entrance and disabled parking is located at Gate B, 344 Tully Road. Shots are available at this location for everyone age 3 years and older. Children aged 3 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Younger children should get a shot from their regular pediatrician. No appointment needed, and all are welcome regardless of immigration status.
It is especially important to get a flu shot during the COVID-19 pandemic. Reducing the overall burden of respiratory illnesses is important to protect vulnerable populations at risk for severe illness, the healthcare system, and other critical infrastructure.

Emergency Assistance Funds for Cupertino Tenants Impacted by COVID-19
City of Cupertino and Meriwest Credit Union Emergency Assistance Funds
The City of Cupertino has partnered with Meriwest Credit Union to provide $100,000 in emergency assistance loan funds to Cupertino tenants impacted by COVID-19. Eligible households can receive up to $3,000 in loan funds on a first-come first-serve basis while funds are available. Household income may not exceed 100% of the Area Median Income (AMI). West Valley Community Services Emergency Assistance Funds
The City of Cupertino contributed $50,000 in emergency assistance funds to WVCS to assist Cupertino tenants impacted by COVID-19. Eligible households can receive up to $3,000 in grant funds on a first-come first-serve basis while funds are available. Household income may not exceed 100% AMI.
