ORIGINAL POST: Santa Clara County sheriff's officials have been searching for nearly a week for a missing Cupertino man, and on Wednesday asked for the public's assistance. William "Bill" Miller, 81, was reported missing Thursday, Oct. 12, according to sheriff's Sgt. Richard Glennon.

Miller, a longtime Cupertino resident who lives alone, was last seen by neighbors at his residence Oct. 5, Glennon said.
