Interview with Artist and Resident Zoe Thompson

Zoe Thompson studied art at the Fine Arts College of Carnegie-Mellon Institute at Pittsburgh, PA, and at De Anza College in Cupertino, CA. She is a member of the Fine Arts League of Cupertino and a signature member of the Society of Western Artists. She served as president of FALC in 1985, and as director of the Sun Gallery, Cupertino.
Her wildlife paintings have been shown at the Department of Natural Resources in Sacramento, CA. Two of her paintings were added to the De Anza history permanent collection. Her California history-related book of sketches was published under a grant from De Anza College. She is a past president and vice-president of the Society of Western Artists.
Zoe was honored as an achiever by the National League of American Pen Women. Honored by Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors for her community endeavor, Zoe Thompson, SWA, has given painting demonstration for many art groups.
