Fraudulent pills that contain fentanyl, known as "M30s" or "rainbow fentanyl," have hit the streets all over CA.
SAN JOAQUIN, CA — The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office announced last Friday the arrest of a man in connection to the overdose death of a woman found inside a hotel room in early April.
Lockeford resident Kirk Romanofsky, 20, was arrested on Oct. 13 after being located in the 19800 block of N. Elliot Road in Lockeford, according to deputies.
Deputies said on April 9 a 20-year-old woman was found dead inside a hotel room that was in an unincorporated area between Stockton and Lodi.

Allegedly, toxicology reports determined that the woman died because of a fentanyl overdose which was sold to the woman by Romanofsky.
San Joaquin County officials said in October that the county has seen a 30-fold increase in the rate of fentanyl-related deaths in a little over two years.
According to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, fraudulent oxycodone pills that contain fentanyl, known as "M30s" or "rainbow fentanyl," have hit the streets all over California and have been called the "deadliest" drug in the country.
