Person Who Allegedly Fled Vehicle Stop In Cupertino Apprehended

BREAKING: Agency reports the individual had outstanding arrest warrants.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – Deputies have found a person who fled from a vehicle stop in Cupertino this morning, a Santa Clara County sheriff's spokesman said.

Deputies conducted a vehicle enforcement stop around 10 a.m. in the area of Wildflower Way and Wildflower Court, just west of South De Anza Boulevard, sheriff's Sgt. Richard Glennon said.

The suspect driver stopped the vehicle and ran away, Glennon said.

The person was caught and taken into custody as of shortly after 11:30 a.m., according to Glennon.

The suspect has outstanding arrest warrants, but Glennon didn't immediately have further details what charges were involved.
