Police Investigate Suspicious Item Found In Foothill College Restroom

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – Police are investigating a suspicious item found at a Foothill College bathroom in Los Altos Hills this afternoon, a school spokeswoman said.

Around 11:40 a.m., officers were notified of a suspicious item found in a restroom at Building 1900 that houses administration offices, college spokeswoman Lori Thomas said.

The building is in the middle of the campus located at 12345 El Monte Road.

Campus police have cordoned off the exterior breezeway and surrounding area as they conduct an investigation into the item, Thomas said.

No evacuations were called for and no injuries were reported as of about 12:10 p.m., according to Thomas.
