South Bay Congressman Caught Catnapping on Camera
Mike Honda might be sleepy in meetings but he is quick with his Twitter responses.
Popular South Bay Congressman Mike Honda is catching a bit of flak after video of him snoozing during a meeting about Homeland Security spending recently surfaced.
According to KPIX CBS 5, C-SPAN cameras captured the quick nap on tape last Friday, when Honda appeared to fall asleep for about 20 seconds. KPIX reports this is not the first time Honda, 73, has been seen dozing during a meeting.
Soon after the power nap, Honda responded to criticismĀ by tweeting,ā@jeremyherb@keithellison@GingerGibson Yes, Iām tired of the GOP playing games with our national security.ā
