South Bay Man Arrested After Police Find Storage Locker Full Of Stolen Stuff
A San Jose man allegedly burglarized a home in Mountain View on Monday and was later caught in Los Altos, police said.

SAN FRANCISCO PENINSULA -- A San Jose man allegedly burglarized a home in Mountain View on Monday and was later caught in Los Altos with a storage locker full of stolen items, police said.
Around 6:30 p.m., Mountain View police officers responded to a report of a residential burglary in the 1200 block of Fairbrook Drive.
According to police, the suspect allegedly walked into the home's open garage and stole a specialized bike. The victim said they saw the suspect running by the home shortly before the burglary, and was able to
provide police with a detailed description of the suspect.

While investigating, Mountain View police were notified by the Los Altos Police Department that they were handling a similar case and had arrested someone matching the description of the Mountain View burglary
suspect.
The suspect in custody was identified as 22-year-old Pablo Bautista of San Jose. He is believed to be connected to other residential burglaries, police said.

Mountain View police met Bautista and learned that he had a storage locker that they believed contained additional stolen items. Police located the locker and recovered several stolen bikes from inside, including
the one taken from Fairbrook Drive, police said.
Police say they're working to return the stolen property to the rightful owners.
