Westar & Jesus Seminar--What Are They?
Westar Institute, home of the Jesus Seminar, plays a role in today's understanding of the New Testament -- Adult Forum on February 8, 9:15

Janet and Howard Hill give a brief introduction to Westar Institute, home of the Jesus Seminar, and the role it plays in today’s understanding of the New Testament at an Adult Forum on Sunday, February 8 from 9:15-10:15 am in the Parish Hall at St. Jude’s Cupertino. (www.saintjudes.org.) Westar was founded in 1986 to foster collaborative research in religious studies and to communicate the results to the general public. Westar Fellows are all leading biblical scholars and include Marcus Borg, John Dominic Crossan, Karen Armstrong, Bernard Brandon Scott and John Shelby Spong.
