They received 60-day jail sentences and probation after Irvine detectives tied their rented SUV and stolen bank bag to vehicle break-ins, highlighting the need for vigilance when leaving local bank branches.

• DFW's Ta and Aguilar called into US U17 camp for Japan friendlies (3rddegree.net) — A Cypress midfielder, Mia Corona of UCLA, has been called into the U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team for a training camp and two matches against Japan in Chiba this July. She’ll join 19 other top youth players from across the country, giving Cypress a direct connection to the national program’s next generation of talent.
