4 New Bloggers Join Local Voices in March; How About You in April?

In March we had new bloggers come from the local baking world, the Alamo Women's Club, and someone offering their expertise in navigating the world of higher education.

I'm often asked, "What is a blog?"

And those words, "Local Voices," are exactly what it sounds like. We want to hear from you, what you're passionate about, what you're an expert in, and how these two points are important for the Danville Patch community.

Our blogs complement our site and our reporting. Along with our reports of , the , and (for example), we have our Local Voices.

  • : Harvey is a chiropractor, wellness specialist, personal trainer, and mom. She blogs about keeping you healthy through all of those points.
  • : This is an organization blog for the Alamo Women's Club. They'll be using this space for getting the word out about their events and various projects they are involved in.
  • : Cat is a local baker and will be blogging about, well, baking. Her first post, she offers up some sage advice: "BAKE WHEN YOU'RE HAPPY! NOT SAD!"

Also through March we had our veteran bloggers hitting on some good topics. Notably:
