92-Year-Old Man Killed In Solo Danville Crash ID'ed
The Contra Costa County Coroner's Division released the name of the man killed in a solo tree crash July 21.
DANVILLE, CA — The Contra Costa County Coroner’s Division released the identity of a 92-year-old man who was killed in a solo tree crash on Camino Tassajara on July 21.
Jahangir Bozorgmanesh, a 92-year-old Danville resident, was killed when his 2000 Toyota 4Runner crashed into a tree on eastbound Camino Tassajara, east of Messian Place, just before 9 p.m. on Friday, July 21, according to reports from the Danville Police and the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Division.
Bozorgmanesh was pronounced dead at the scene, and eastbound Camino Tassajara between Messian Place and Shady Creek Drive was closed for approximately six hours, according to Danville police. The incident remains under investigation.
