"I'm very grateful to everyone in Danville who voted for me, reached out, or took the time to talk with me during this campaign. Our family moved here almost fifteen years ago because we wanted to raise our kids in Danville. Now, having the opportunity to continue serving the public on the Town Council means a lot to me. Throughout this campaign, every conversation reminded me how much people here care about Danville. Once all the ballots are counted, I'm excited to roll up my sleeves and get to work," said Carlson in a statement.
Patch also reached out to Vice Mayor Storer for comment.
Storer is a construction project manager who served on the Town Council since 2009, following nine years on the Danville Planning Commission. During his re-election campaign, Storer empahsized his experience in local government and identified downtown revitalization, aging infrastructure, public safety, and fiscal responsibility as his top priorities.
Carlson retired as San Ramon police chief in December 2025 after spending 27 years in Contra Costa law enforcement. During his campaign, he emphasized public safety, particularly managing commercial burglaries, along with managing development and managing the town's financial stability.
Storer and Carlson both oppose term limits, while Sonavne said she supported them.
