Assistance League Thrift Shop’s Fangtastic Hallo-o-o-o-ween Lurks

The “dead-icated” member volunteers at Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette, caution you that this year’s “Fangtastic Hallo-o-o-ween” Merchandise and Costumes event promises to be an out-of-body experience. Write this date down (not necessarily in blood): Tuesday, October 1, at 9:30 am. sharp (ouch). Get “a head” of the crowd for this one-stop shopping encounter. One timid soul did not heed this advice; just did not have her heart in it—a grave situation, indeed.

Pumpkin carvers will delight in the selection of decorative “goreds.” Lurking witches, spiders and bone-chilling skeletons will screech from on high to cats, rats and bats alike. Unearth centerpieces and tableware to create that crypt-like ambience. Likewise, those who choose to take ‘a foot” will dig up a spine-tingling selection of candy carriers. You’ll also want to breathe life into that perfect Halloween costume that separates you…from others. A variety lurks for both children and adults.
