Danville Company Accused Of Fraudulent Billing Reaches Settlement
Aqua Science Engineers agreed to pay $50,000 and cease work with the State Water Resources Control Board, officials said.

DANVILLE, CA – State water officials announced Friday that they have reached a settlement agreement with a Contra Costa County company over allegations of fraudulent billing related to underground storage tank cleanup work.
The State Water Resources Control Board had accused Aqua Science Engineers of Danville, which also has an office in Orange County, of overbilling for equipment, labor costs and visits to project sites.
The company denies the allegations but agreed to a settlement that require it to pay $50,000 and cease all work on projects funded by the Water Board, according to state officials.
