Danville Police Officer Honored By Mothers Against Drunk Driving
Officer James Adams was honored for conducting 22 DUI arrests in 2018.

DANVILLE, CA — A Danville police officer was recognized recently by the Northern California Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving for his efforts to stop drunk driving. During MADD's annual Northern California Law Enforcement Recognition event in Dublin last week, Officer James Adams was among 150+ other law enforcement officers recognized from the Bay Area and Central Valley.
Officer Adams was honored for conducting 22 DUI arrests in 2018. Chief Allan Shields and Lt. Doug Muse were on hand to celebrate Officer Adams' accomplishment.
"Congrats to Officer Adams! We're proud to have you in the community," Danville police said on social media.
