Danville Police Remind Residents to Play Pokémon Go Safely
Police use social media to share a few safety tips with PG fans.
DANVILLE, CA — Don't play Pokeman and drive. Pay attention to your surroundings and use common sense when playing. Danville Police officials are using social media to help keep locals safe while playing PG.
Danville Police posted the funny photo with the safety tips on their Facebook page on July 15.
The new GPS-enabled game requires players to get out into the community to explore landmarks, public places and area neighborhoods, in search of hidden creatures visible only through your mobile's camera.

Since the launch of the game, devotees have crashed their cars while playing, two players fell off of a Southern California cliff and some unlucky players even discovered a dead body. Three Marines helped catch a suspect wanted for attempted murder while playing PG in a park.
