Danville Residents Asked To Identify Potential Housing Spots
As part of the upcoming Housing Element, Danville residents can identify potential spots to accommodate the required 2,241 new homes.

DANVILLE, CA — Beginning in March, Danville residents can identify spots in town where they think new housing can be accommodated.
Per state law, Danville must complete a Housing Element policy document that identifies where and how the town will build a minimum of 2,241 new homes. The town is mandated to establish sites for these new homes, regardless of available land capacity, for the upcoming 2023-31 planning period.
As part of a public outreach period, Danville residents will be able to drop pins online in spots where they believe new housing could be built. The Housing Site Suggestion Map will open in March and April.
