Danville Voters To Decide Magee Preserve Development Project

A March 3, 2020 special election will decide if development on the 410-acre site should move forward.

DANVILLE, CA — Danville will have a special election on March 3, 2020 to decide whether development can move forward on the Magee Preserve project.

The project calls for 69 single-family lots on approximately 29 acres of the 410-acre site. The ballot referendum also calls for preserving the remaining 381 acres as permanent open space and dedicates hiking and biking trails for public use.

The site is located on the south side of Diablo Road and Blackhawk Road extending approximately two miles east from the intersection of Diablo Road/Green Valley Road/McCauley Road.
