Donate Canned Food at the Danville Community Center

Donations will benefit Contra Costa County food banks.

DANVILLE, CA — Students in Danville are doing their part to help those in need this holiday season. Local teenagers are helping collect canned food to donate to the Contra Costa and Solano County Food Bank through donation bins set up at the Teen Centers at Los Cerros, Diablo Vista and Charlotte Wood Middle schools in Danville. The food bank serves seniors, children and other community members in need.

Residents who do not have a student who attends one of the listed schools can still take donations of nonperishable food items to the Danville Community Center, which is located at 420 Front St.

The food bank is in need of peanut butter, dry beans, rice, pasta, and canned soups. Click here for a full list of donation items.
