"All Creatures Great and Small" - The Danville Girls Chorus will perform their SPRING concert with a beautiful and whimsical selection of animal tales set to music Tickets are $15.00 for Adults and $5.00 for children 14 and under and can be purchased in advance by calling 837-2624. They may also be purchased at the door just prior to the concert.
The Danville Girls Chorus is made up of 145 girls from 3rd – 8th grades from 36 local Tri-Valley schools. The primary goal is music education. Under the direction of Ken
Abrams, girls are taught the basics of vocal production and learn the fundamentals of musicianship and note reading.
They are also introduced to a variety of musical styles, ranging from classical to contemporary, folk tunes and pop music.
This concert is the second performance of the 2011/2012 season for the Danville Girls Chorus. They will follow this performance with a tour and performances in Hollywood California in April and a local Pops concert in June.
