Fields Of Gold And Lavender: Pleasanton Painting Of The Day

PLEASANTON, CA — "Many of my paintings are of botanicals, but I also portray elements of the spiritual and inter-dimensional in some of my works: the mysterious, the unresolved, because I think that is the nature of reality," Pleasanton resident Kris Blakely, a published author, poet and lyricist told Patch.

Blakely paints watercolor and mixed-media note cards, which are currently for sale at The East Bay Flower Company and the San Damiano Retreat Center in Danville.
