Former Cal High Principal Named New Montair Principal
The SRVUSD Board voted in Megan Keefer as the new principal of Montair Elementary, effective immediately.

DANVILLE, CA — Megan Keefer, the former principal at California High School, has been named the new principal of Montair Elementary School, effective immediately following a school board vote. She replaces former principal Elizabeth Lyons.
Keefer has been with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District since 2005, and served in a number of teaching and administrative roles. She was principal of California High School from 2019 until 2022, when she stepped down to teach English. She served as the assistant principal of San Ramon Valley High School from 2017-19, and as assistant principal of Monte Vista High School from 2015-17. Before that, she taught English and social studies at Monte Vista.
Keefer holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Master of Arts in teaching from the University of New Hampshire. She earned her Professional Administrative Services Credential from California State University, East Bay.
