IHOP Slinging Free Pancakes on Tuesday
In honor of National Pancake Day, IHOPs across the country will serve free pancakes from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Donations will be accepted for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

IHOP restaurants around the country will serve free short stacks of pancakes on Tuesday as part of National Pancake Day.
You might be thinking, "There's no IHOP in Danville!"
And you're right... but... a free pancake is a free pancake and some people may be willing to drive 10 miles to get one.

Participating IHOP restaurants will serve the free pancakes from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The closest IHOPs to Danville are in Dublin, 6379 Dublin Blvd., and Walnut Creek, 2910 North Main Street.
Those eating them will be asked to make a voluntary donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

The chain began the tradition in 2006, and claims to have raised nearly $8 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates.
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals raises money for children's hospitals in the United States.
Last year, IHOP served an estimated 4 million free pancakes on National Pancake Day, according to restaurant officials.
