Meals on Wheels Diablo Region and the "Give Back Bag" Program
Meals on Wheels Diablo Region Selected by Lucky Supermarket as "Give Back Bag" Beneficiary
Meals on Wheels Diablo Region has been chosen by the Lucky Supermarket in Danville to be the beneficiary of the store’s Give Back Bag Program during the month of March.
The Lucky Supermarket Give Back Bag Program was launched last September with the goal of making a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
As a beneficiary of the program, Meals on Wheels Diablo Region will receive a $1 donation every time a $2.99 reusable Give Back Bag is purchased in March.

“We’re very grateful that our local Lucky Supermarket has chosen us to benefit from such a great program,” said Executive Director of Meals on Wheels Diablo Region Caitlin Sly. “Every dollar we receive will help us deliver the meals and services seniors in our community need to continue living independently with dignity.”
Meals on Wheels Diablo Region is an independent non-profit and the only Meals on Wheels in the County to deliver both meals and life-improving services that include: Fall Prevention, Care Management, Health & Wellness, Friendly Visitors, and Friendly Callers.
