New Child-Friendly Hair Salon Opens In Danville
"Pigtails & Crewcuts" on Camino Tassajara Road is aimed at children, but parents may love it, too!
DANVILLE, CA – With bright colors, whimsical decor and "barber chairs" designed like mini-vehicles, the new Pigtails & Crewcuts: Haircuts for Kids, which opened this month in Danville, is sure make haircuts appealing to little ones -- and ease any stress for moms and dads.
“We are excited to be open and are ready to serve the families of the Danville community,” owner Jill Landry said. “As a mom, I know that haircuts can be overwhelming for kids, and I’m excited to provide a place that is family-friendly and caters to kids. Our goal is to make haircuts a stress-free experience for kids and parents.”
The Danville salon, located at 3408 Camino Tassajara Road near Ascona Pizza Co. and Wells Fargo, is the franchise’s sixth children’s salon in California.

In addition to the vehicle-shaped seats, the salon strives to create a kid-friendly atmosphere with books, movies, video games and toys that the little customers can enjoy before, during and after their haircuts. Pigtails & Crewcuts also sells children’s hair products and accessories, and has a dedicated room for birthday parties.
