Nordstrom To Open 'Local' Service Hub In Danville

In June, Nordstrom will open a service hub in Danville for order pickups, returns, alterations, and more.

DANVILLE, CA — Nordstrom will open a 1,214-square-foot Local Service Hub at 600 Sycamore Valley Road on June 18, the department store announced.

The Danville location will be the second Nordstrom Local Hub in Northern California, and the fifth in California. Unlike traditional department stores, local service hubs are designed as local service centers where customers can pick up online orders, complete returns, get alteration services on Nordstrom purchases, get products gift-wrapped, and donate gently used clothing and shoes to local nonprofits.

The Danville Nordstrom Local location will open shortly after another location in San Diego. Local service hubs currently exist on Fillmore Street in San Francisco, Brentwood (Los Angeles), Newport Beach, and Manhattan Beach. There are also three locations in New York City.

By extending our presence closer to where our customers live and work, we believe Nordstrom Locals will offer greater convenience, broader access to what they need, apnd a more personalized experience.”

The Danville service hub will be located close to a large, traditional department store at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek, and Nordstrom Rack locations in Pleasant Hill and San Leandro.
