Nordstrom To Open San Diego's First Local Service Hub
The small Nordstrom Local sites offer services such as online order pickup, returns and alterations rather than traditional retail sales.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Nordstrom will soon open its first Nordstrom Local service hub in the San Diego area, as part of the company's broader expansion across California.
Nordstrom Local One Paseo is scheduled to open June 4 at 3725 Paseo Place, #1040, in Carmel Valley, the Seattle-based department store announced. Another location is slated to open June 18 in Danville in the San Francisco Bay Area.
"We're excited to bring these new Nordstrom Local service hubs to San Diego and Danville, expanding our commitment to serving customers across California," said Fanya Chandler, president of Nordstrom stores. "Northern and Southern California represent two of our most significant markets, and these new locations reflect our continued focus on evolving alongside our customers. By extending our presence closer to where our customers live and work, we believe Nordstrom Locals will offer greater convenience, broader access to what they need, and a more personalized experience."
