Danville kicked off its holiday season in style with a tree lighting, music, shopping, and Santa.

DANVILLE, CA — More than 10,000 people descended on downtown Danville Friday for the 47th Lighting of the Old Oak Tree. Guests enjoyed performances from the Danville Girls Chorus, and the choirs from San Ramon Valley High School and Monte Vista High School. Guests also enjoyed visits from local leaders, including Santa Claus and the Snow Angel.
